I’ll grant you most of those other women, and generally I agree that women don’t do stand-up very well, but how hard did you have to look to find a Wanda Sykes bit that WASN’T funny? I’m betting that took hours of work. She’s one the top 5 funniest stand-up comics ever, in my opinion! And you never want to miss her when she shows up on a talk show — just look her up on YouTube.

You haven’t watched ENOUGH female comics. And ya, SOME of them above aren’t very funny. But SO many male comics are cookie cutter – all they talk about is their dick. UGH – there’s great AND sucky talent in both sexes.

Not all female comics suck, although you did pick a good list of the most prominent ones and they are all awful. I’d recommend Maria Bamford, Cathlene Madigan, and Judy Gold.

While I tend to agree with you, try listening to Marianne Sierk, April Macie (f-ing HOT redhead), Lynne Koplitz, and Julie McCullough (yes, that Julie McCullough). Good looking and funny – well, at least funnier than those above.
