All Aboard the Nostalgia Train

It seems lately that one of the greatest treasures on the web is reliving the glory days… well, that and porn, but we’re not talking about that right now. Looking back and wiping away a tear of bittersweet joy as you nod with melancholy happiness at pictures of toys you used to own, costumes you used to wear, games you used to play, and a childhood you used to have is what it’s all about these days. Few of us were able to keep our Merlins and He-Mans and Electronic Football Games and sometimes we don’t even really long for them until we’re reminded of the fun and innocence they offered us through pictures. There, hows that for painting a picture of our collective lives from twenty or thirty years ago? Get your emotions in a tizzy for some Care Bears and Candyland? I thought so.
